What a great start to the week! James Kirton, GB Olympic swimmer, joined the children in our sponsored event then led Monday’s assembly. We would like to thank James for coming to our school and all the parents and friends who very generously sponsored the children.
Mr Rickles took our new team to Holmegate for the first match of the season. Unfortunately the children lost but Mr Rickles is positive after such an amazing start playing together that the team will soon be back on the winning streak.
Miss Seymore took 4 children to play Tag Rugby at Tibshelf on Wednesday. Well done, to the boys for turning up and setting a great example.
Mrs Broughs Class led Wednesday’s assembly. They told the school all about their class trip to Creswell Crags last week.
On Friday evening Mrs Hill’s dance group showcased their skills at the Dance Sports Award.
During the week 5H investigated how blood flows through different blood vessels. They then investigated what happens if the blood is too thin or the blood vessels become clogged.
