Parents were invited into Mrs Horton’s class for a cinema event Monday afternoon where parents viewed the Alien Invasion Films. These films can be found under Children in the Gallery area.
The Year 4/5 Classes had an adventure 2 days on Tuesday and Wednesday. One day was in school doing archery, carting and wall climbing then the other at Black Rocks doing climbing, abseiling and orienteering. An amazing two days that were unforgettable.
Mrs Roberts and Mrs Brough class visited Quarry Bank Mill on Tuesday. They visited an apprentice house where children who worked in the mill lived, the children took part in a Victorian lesson then explored the rest of the site finding out about food/ the washing rooms and toilet facilities! They also explored the mill seeing spinning, weaving machines and learning more about the different jobs children did there.
Unfortunately the football team didn’t win on Tuesday! As always their behaviour was a real credit to the school.
Miss Garbutt took 4 Year 6 children to a School Captains Bronze Ambassador conference on Wednesday. They learnt more about their role as a School Captain.
It was the Super Star Assembly on Thursday when the children found out who had been nominated this term. Well done to all our new Super Stars. The Easter Raffle was also drawn during the assembly. Thank you Friends of Heath for organising the event.
Finally the school would like to say a huge thank you to Fair Share for giving every child in the school an Easter Egg.
Have a wonderful Easter holiday and we look forward to seeing all the children on the 12th April.
