A very busy week at Heath!

 

On Monday  Mrs  Horton took some of the School Parliament to Blackwell Primary School to meet up with other school parliament from members of the The 5 Pits Partnership.  They shared a presentation with the other children about Heath Primary.

 

On Wednesday Miss Garbutts’s class led the assembly.  They shared with the school all they have learnt about Brazil.  The class also shared some of their amazing art work.

 

Parents joined Mr Lynch and Mrs Farnsworth on Wednesday morning to celebrate the new Superstars.  A film of the Superstars can be found int he Video Resource Centre of the website.

 

The Years 2’s went to Tibshelf School on Wednesday to take part in a mini Olympics.  They had an great time and more information and photographs can be found in the Gallery section of the website.

 

Also on Wednesday Heath Primary took over the stables at Hardwick Hall.  Children’s art work was on display and the choir sung for the crowds.  The rain managed to hold off and everyone had a wonderful evening.

 

It was Year 5’s turn to go to Tibshelf school on Friday for their mini Olympics.  Again the children had a fun time.  Though the weather couldn’t compare to Wednesdays!

 

Ambassadors and Creative Arts students from Springwell Community School came in to deliver a performance about standing up to bullies.  The session ended with a balloon release.
