7th - 11th November

Large footsteps were found on the field on Monday morning by Lower KS2 phase.  However, there is no need to panic as the children have written instructions on how to trap the giant.

A barn owl visited the children on Monday.  Children asked lots of questions and everyone managed to stroke her.

On Wednesday parents of our new Super Stars joined Mr Lynch and Mrs Farnsworth fora celebration breakfast.  Children were presented with a certificate and parents watched a film explain what is a Super Star and why their children thought they had been given the award.

Mrs Wood's class class led Thursday's assembly.  They told the school about the work they had been doing in Literacy about personification.  Each child had written a volcano personification poem and these were read out in assembly.  The poems can also be found in the Gallery under the Children's section of the website.

On Friday all KS2 children watched a performance called Sticks and Stones. It launched our schools Friendship Week and was all about what bullying is and how to deal with it (TELL).  More about the performance and Friendship Week can be found in the Gallery under the Children's section of the website.
