21st - 25th May

Amazingly, all phases had successful Sport's Days.  A big thanks to parents, grandparents and friends who came along to support the children.  Images from some of the phases can be found in the Gallery section of the website.

Mr Rickles and Mr Plumber had a great start to the HPS World Cup.  They managed to get as far as the final but weather prevented play on Friday!  Hopefully, next week the final between Brazil and Australia will take place.

Jodie Smith, the PE specialist , was in school for the last time this week.  The children have had an amazing time working with her.  She finished her time at Heath by holding a cricket competition.

Year 6 invited parents into school for a clarinet concert on Tuesday afternoon.  The children enjoyed performing and the parents enjoyed listening!

Despite the rain the nursery garden party went ahead on the last Friday of term.

The children had painted sunflowers on plant pots and planted a sunflower seed to sell as part of our enterprise curriculum. They had also made flower faces which were planted around the nursery garden to find with their visitors.

Afterwards there were drinks and a biscuit.

The Book Fair was in school all this week and many parents and children visited the fair before and after school.  Again we would like to thank parents for their support.

Well done to the new superstars who were revealed on Friday.

Finally, we would all like to wish Miss Flavell well as she starts her maternity leave.
