This has got to have been one of the busiest weeks ever at HPS!
The nursery went to St Albans Church on Monday to listen to the story of the first Christmas and sing some Christmas songs. After the story the children made nativity pictures with their parents. It was a lovely visit and a great start to our Christmas week in Nursery.
All week there has been Christmas Concert. Upper Key Stage 2 had a traditional Carol Concert, Lower Key Stage 2 performed Santa’s on Strike and Key Stage 1 performed Mend the Manger. It was great to see so many friends and family supporting the children at these performances and staff would like to say a huge THANK YOU to parents for helping children learn their lines and providing wonderful costumes.
Friday was Christmas Jumper Day. The children looked amazing. Look at the photos and we hope you agree.
