Parents of pupils at Heath Primary School are reminded that one of the main pieces of software used in school is Softease CT. Any parent wishing to install a copy of this software on their home PCs is welcome to do so as we have a Home and Community Licence. The latest version of the software may be freely downloaded from here on the softease website but you will need to find out the activation code from school, the code usually changes at the end of September..

At present we are developing a series of guides to help you make more from this software and to remind your children of how to do particular tasks using it. Visit the CT section of our "How to..." page for more details - and watch out as more 'How to....' guides are added!

"This site is about sharing ... primary and secondary school teachers creating classroom materials for their colleagues around the world and sharing ideas on adapting and extending the materials beyond the four-five hours' teaching for which were originally designed." There are a growing number of projects created by staff from our school showcased in the resources on this site.

"ThinkQuest UK... is an annual competition open to students aged 9 to 19. Working in teams, students compete to create the best educational websites and to win cutting-edge technology prizes, and an invitation to the ThinkQuest UK Awards Event, an educational event celebrating their achievements." Four teams from Heath entered this competition in 2007 and one team's site, about 'Local Field Animals', was good enough to be added to the ThinkQuest library here.
